  1. Thanks for your post and for the link to the newspaper article. Our tour of LT included an overnight stop in Druskininkai, so I can picture that – especially walking around and, in the evening, along the River. A question: Tthe article says the business offers 2, 3 and 5 day cruises, but you mention spending 3 months. And it sounds as if you were travelling on the raft, so ???? (PS: What about insects???)

    1. Hey! Yes, I’m a member of crew, so I’m travelling on the raft for the whole summer. Insects are a problem in some places, but mostly they’re fine!

  2. Great article in the Irish Times June. The life of Huckleberry Finn certainly suits you and you describe it so well that for a short period I am transported there.
