Roe Deer

While most of the deer in Guardian of Giria are red deer, European roe deer (Capreolus capreolus) do feature in one chapter.

Roe deer are much smaller than red deer and have softer, prettier faces. They actually look a bit like a kangaroo! Adult males are called bucks, adult females are called does and juveniles are called fawns.
