It is possible to send Kindle copies of books directly to a Kindle device – either a bona fide Kindle or the Kindle app on an iPad or iPhone. (Unfortunately, it is not currently possible to send to Kindle apps on Android or PC/Laptop.)
To enable this facility, you need to:
- Find the email address of your Kindle device and send this to the person who will be sending you the Kindle book. NB: Note that this is NOT the same as the email address you use to log into your Amazon account.
- Add the personal email address of the person sending you the Kindle book to your “Safe Senders” list on Amazon.
